May Khieu, Chief Compliance Officer

May Khieu is a Director on the Chrysalis Holdings Board and is Chief Compliance Officer at NewDay USA where she oversees NewDay USA’s Compliance Department. Ms. Khieu and her team are responsible for developing, implementing and administering all aspects of the company’s Compliance Management program.   

Prior to being the Chief Compliance Officer, Ms. Khieu was promoted to Vice President of Underwriting and later served as the Chief credit Officer of NewDay USA from 2007 - 2012. Under her leadership of the Underwriting department, she has produced a team with a nearly impeccable record of loan performance. Ms. Khieu is a DE underwriter and also has a VA underwriting authority. She also serves as a Board of Director of Chrysalis Holdings, LLC.

Ms. Khieu brings with her 20+ years of mortgage experience in many areas of the mortgage business. Prior to joining NewDay USA in 1999, Ms. Khieu worked as the operations manager for Federal Funding Corporation From 1996 – 1999, where she held key roles in underwriting, loan origination, and operations management. Ms. Khieu has a BS in Accounting from the University of Santo Thomas in Manila, Philippines.
